"The current level of energy consumption around the
world is a legitimate measure about the rate of economic development around the
world. More energy is consumed as different regions around the world propel
their economic interests. Though, this
is good news, the dark side of it is that natural resource are under great
stress to match the demand and fossil fuels remains the only dominant source of
energy. This poses a serious challenge in as far as environmental conservation
and sustainable development are concerned."
